Free Tools for Banks and Credit Unions

It’s easy to get involved in the Go Direct® campaign to help encourage your customers or members to switch from paper checks to direct deposit for federal benefit payments. Ideas on how to participate, best practices and free materials are available. Here’s how your bank or credit union can get involved:

  1. Train Tellers and Branch Staff – When tellers talk, people listen. Train your staff to promote the advantages of direct deposit and help federal benefit check recipients make the switch. Free Go Direct training materials are available, including:
  1. Display and Distribute In-Lobby Marketing Materials – Banks and credit unions can opt to co-brand and print their own materials or order free Go Direct materials, including:
  1. Communicate Campaign Information to Staff and Customers or Members – Sharing information about direct deposit for federal benefits is as easy as publishing a campaign newsletter article or adding PPT slides into an existing presentation. Free materials include:
