Go Direct® Champions – Get Recognized for Driving Results
Promoting direct deposit for federal benefit payments has never been more important! The fifth Go Direct Champions program gives financial institutions with 100 or more branches the opportunity to gain recognition from the U.S. Department of the Treasury for boosting the use of direct deposit by federal benefit recipients for their federal benefit payments. You don’t want to miss this opportunity!
Participate in Four Simple Steps

Step 1: Register for the Champions program by September 30, 2011.

Step 2: Announce your financial institution’s participation in the program to branch staff.

Step 3: Educate your staff about the move to electronic federal benefit payments so that they can help customers or members sign up for direct deposit and answer their questions.

Step 4: Compare your results in driving conversions to direct deposit to the average growth rate of other participating financial institutions. The Go Direct campaign will provide you with reports that track your increase in Social Security and SSI ACH payments throughout the Champions program period.
