People with Disabilities and Caregivers tool kit

Help people with disabilities and their caregivers gain more control over their money with direct deposit and the Direct Express® Debit MasterCard® card. By switching from paper checks to electronic payments for Social Security, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and other federal benefit payments, people can help simplify their lives and protect their money from check theft and fraud.

These downloadable tools make it easy to share the advantages of getting federal benefits electronically:

  • People with Disabilities and Caregivers Program – Provides a short overview of easy ways to get involved with the campaign.
  • PowerPoint slides – These informational slides provide the basics about the advantages of electronic payments.
  • Talking points – Include these key messages in presentations, workshops or meetings.
  • Consumer newsletter copy – Information suitable for an article highlighting ways people with disabilities and others can benefit by signing up for electronic payments.
  • Internal newsletter copy – Information suitable for an article announcing your organization’s support of the campaign to staff, volunteers, affiliates, etc.
  • Web banners – Available in three sizes: 125x125, 300x85 and 468x60. These colorful illustrations reinforce the key messages of the Go Direct ® campaign.
