Go Direct Trains Financial Institutions in Online EnrollmentResearch shows tellers are the most trusted source of information about direct deposit among people receiving federal benefit checks. Tellers play a critical role in motivating people to switch to direct deposit – simply by taking a moment to explain the advantages of direct deposit and then helping them enroll. Go Direct offers a fast and easy way to sign up Social Security check recipients for direct deposit at www.GoDirect.org. Many of the leading financial institutions across the country currently use Go Direct Online Enrollment. On September 6 and 7, Go Direct hosted two training sessions, which included a guided walk-through of Go Direct Online Enrollment by the Go Direct Processing Center, located in the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Training included a demonstration on how tellers can easily create a user name and password and begin enrolling check recipients in direct deposit in less than five minutes. If you have questions about Go Direct online enrollment, please contact the Go Direct Processing Center at (877) 874-6347 or godirectsupport@godirect.gov. To access the online enrollment guide, click here and find a PDF and Microsoft Word version of the document on the bottom left of the page. In the Media
